Shaivitz brings extensive executive experience within the financial services and consulting industry. His background includes developing business strategy, supervising risk management functions, profit improvement, business process re-design and improvement and developing regulatory compliance programs.
Prior to joining Catalyst Consulting Group, Shaivitz was founder of Shaivitz & Associates a consulting firm for the financial services industry. He provided management advisory services in the area of de novo banking, regulatory compliance, strategic planning and change management. Before forming Shaivitz & Associates, Gary was a member of the founding leadership team for HarVest Bank of Maryland; Senior Vice President, Market Planning and Strategy for Allfirst Bank (now M&T Bank); Senior Vice President, Network Strategy for Bank of America and Senior Consultant for Furash & Company.
