FAQ
Answers to your questions
What is so different about Catalyst Consulting Group?
Catalyst has three main differentiators with other companies offering similar services.
- Catalyst offers the skills and knowledge of the entire firm on all engagements. This provides our clients with tremendous breadth and depth in terms of experience, wisdom, creativity and talent.
- Catalyst is a boutique firm dedicated to the financial industry. This allows us to maintain focus on the challenges our clients are facing by staying current on the financial services industry.
- Catalyst is chiefly comprised of financial executives. This has resulted in excellent working relationships with our clients and their staff. Catalyst consultants truly empathize with the issues our clients have to overcome. This enables us to offer services based on “real-world” experience, not consulting “theory” that only looks good on paper.
What are Catalyst’s core areas of expertise?
While Catalyst is continuously adding resources and therefore broadening our experience and expertise, the following are our current core competencies:
- Core Processing
- Payment Processing
- Item Processing
- Commercial & Retail lending
- Imaging
- Online Banking
- Cash Management & Treasury Services
- Enterprise Technology
- Case Management
- Teller Processing
- Risk & Fraud Assessment
- Acquisition Integration
What are the fees for your services?
All pricing is determined by a combination of the Services, Functional Area of Expertise and Market Segment. Catalyst Consulting Group has multiple pricing options available.
-
Fixed - Based upon the product package. These engagements have a well-defined scope in terms of duration and deliverables.
-
Time & Materials - For projects where the scope and deliverables are less-defined. These engagements can be contracted at an hourly, weekly or monthly rate.
-
Subscription/Retainer - Provided on a quarterly or annual basis. This will allow the client access via web, telephone and/or onsite to the resources of Catalyst Consulting Group for the time period specified.
At Catalyst, we understand that Trust is the single most important aspect of the relationship with our clients. Therefore, we have developed a pricing structure that allows clients to build that trust before contracting for any major engagements. Investment is as little as $1,000 for initial onsite consultations.
Are you aligned with any vendor firms or do you take an independent approach?
At Catalyst, we do cultivate relationships with vendors, industry consortiums, research firms and other entities that contribute to our working knowledge of the industry. However, Catalyst is strictly independent and unbiased in regards to these relationships. We work exclusively for our clients to help them achieve the best possible solutions for their specific needs.
Is Catalyst nationwide?
Yes, Catalyst Consulting Group has offices and consultants across the country in Phoenix, AZ; Washington, DC; Chicago IL; Dallas, TX; Philadelphia, PA; Boston, MA; Portland, OR and Seattle, WA.
How large is the firm?
